WisdomPhilanthropy was established on June 15, 2011, by our Founder, Benefactor, and Patron, David Wisdom Jr. Growing up in Jamaica, David developed a deep awareness of the challenges many people face and a strong belief that those who are able, should help those in need.
Guided by this conviction, he founded WisdomPhilanthropy with a clear and enduring mission: “Within our abilities, HELP Everyone.”
What began as a personal commitment to serve others has grown into an organization dedicated to creating meaningful and measurable impact in communities.
Our work spans key areas including Policy, Education, Healthcare, Community Development, Disaster Relief, and Environmental Sustainability. While we respond to immediate needs, we also focus on long-term initiatives that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Through strategic partnerships, volunteer engagement, and innovative approaches to giving, WisdomPhilanthropy continues to expand our reach transforming lives, restoring hope, and creating opportunities for a better future.

How Do We Fund Our Projects?
At WisdomPhilanthropy, we believe in taking action where help is needed most. That belief shapes how we fund our work. The majority of our funding is generated through mission-aligned businesses operated by the organization, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact. 100% of net proceeds from these ventures are reinvested directly into our programs and initiatives.
While we gratefully accept public donations, our model is intentionally built to rely on earned revenue rather than constant fundraising, allowing us to focus on impact, accountability, and service, without placing the burden on anyone external of the organization.
